Default Is it normal to feel this way??

I had my baby son 8 months ago. I gave birth by C-Section. I have felt every day since he was born that I have let him down, I am a failure, he isn't really mine. Is it normal to feel this way or is it just me?

Thanks for listening ladies

Sounds like a possible bout with post-partum depression.
Nat,
have you talked to your doctor about this?

I think it's very important that you let someone know how you've been feeling so that you can get help for it.
It's not uncommon to feel really down or drained after having a baby, but you may need a therapist or some counseling to help you.

Don't be afraid or ashamed to ask for help.
It's better you feel as well as you can as opposed to feeling "down" and "depressed".

The demands of a little one can really drain you; especially when you're not feeling very energetic yourself.

See a doctor and find out what can be done to help you.
