I saw on the news last night that there is some concern that the fairly new flu shot, Tamiflu, has been causing some really bizarre side effects in children. They were saying that children have been said to hallucinate and act irratically. In Japan, 25 children who have taken Tamiflu have died from things like jumping out of windows and running into streets and being hit by cars.
So I am just wondering, have any of you given this shot to your children and have you noticed any strange behavior? It really sparked my curiousity. If there is something wrong with this medication, then we need to start talking about it before more innocent children are hurt.
This is the reason I am leery about letting my daughter get any random shot that the doctor suggests!!!
I am a little confused... are Tamiflu and Relenza the medications you take when you get the flu, or are they flu vaccinations?
Perhaps the medication is having an adverse effect on people of Asian decent.... I haven't read of anyone in the states having these side effects. Just goes to show, one size does not fit all!
