    Hi smilenow
its funny i did the exact same thing with my eldest boy, when he was in grade 1. i would sit and watch him and watch him try, but ultimately playing by himself. It would break my heart too. I would meet him at lunch sometimes just so he had someone to talk to after watching him by himself.
But that didnt take long to work itself out... eventually he made a good friend then many good friends . and now he is in grade 7 and is a very popular little guy.
Now i have a 5 year old in sk again.... lol. and i felt the same worry for him. Its a mothers worry, a moms love that why cant we protect our kids against all negative feelings they will ever feel. But more importantly you may feel worse about all this then he does, he may be ok with it.

Thanks for the update on your son. that makes me feel better. I guess we should be proud of the fact that we care about our children so much. Just proves that we are good moms.
