Hi there ~

I can see why you're anxious - 3 months isn't long to get your head around being a new Mum!!

I'm not a health professional or anything but I have 3 baby's and I can tell you that every Mum worries about the things you're talking about... whether it's number 1 or number 3!

Don't worry that the baby hasn't dropped - they sometimes don't drop until last minute and I've heard that it's really uncomfortable once they do (pressure in your pelvis etc.) - so I'd say that it's a positive thing for the baby to stay up high as long as possible! Mine never dropped until I was well and truly in labour. All pregnancy's are different so try to just ignore the wide-sweeping statements that tell you that "all" first time babies should drop early etc... no one can predict what the baby will do )

I remember having those sharp pangs - they hurt hey! I think that's just the muscles stretching but I know it's pretty annoying ( There are so many things to worry about during a pregnancy - do you have family or friends nearby who've had baby's that you can just chat to about your concerns? We all have them - we're just not always so happy to let everyone know about them.

Congratulations on having such a great pregnancy though! Are you used to the idea of being a Mum yet or is it pretty tough to come to terms with emotionally? It's a huge thing so if it is taking some time for you to feel happy or excited about it don't be hard on yourself. Even though media would like us to think pregnancy is one big gushy feel-good moment, it isn't. Feeling scared and even negative about the whole thing is so normal and I always found the best way to deal with it was to be honest about it and chat about it.

I'd love to hear how your pregnancy progresses and about your new baby when he arrives! Just please remember not to put ANY pressure on yourself - you're doing a fantastic job and pregnancy/motherhood stretches and pulls everyone in every direction (not just physically ) )... you're definitely not alone!
