Default Sleepless in Ohio!!!

Hi,

I need some advice or just to know that there are other moms out there going thru the same thing!! So, my 7 month old baby is very high needs and has been pretty much since birth! I love him so much...he's just SO fussy even at 7 months! I've tried pretty much everything to help him (special formula--Nutramigen, Prevacid for his acid reflux, etc...etc...) Nothing seems to make him happy. Should I just accept the fact that maybe I just have a high needs baby who might just be that way even though all of his needs are met?? I also have a 2 year old and feel so bad for him sometimes because I can't give him all of the attention he deserves because I'm dealing w/ his little brother. I just wonder sometimes when all this fussiness will end...I haven't slept thru the night since the day he was born and I'm utterly exhausted!! It's taken a toll on my marriage, my self-esteem about being a good enough mother, etc....I know I shouldn't complain because I have 2 healthy boys and a good husband and family...I just feel so frustrated SO much of the time. I feel like everyone around me has these happy, smiley babies and I'm still feeling like I have a colicky newborn. Any suggestions, words of wisdom...anything would be great!!! Thanks!

Mine didn't get better until he started to eat solids.

Once, he was eating solids and less bottle we swiched from Nutranagen to Simulac. (H*ll of a lot cheaper ) Eventually we took him off of formula and put him on milk.

It's horrible I know but it will get better.

Thanks for the reply! I know it will eventually get better...it's just hard dealing w/ the fussiness, etc. The sleepless nights are rough, too. He's on solids and has been for the past month--still no better. Maybe by his 1st birthday??!!
