Want to be satisfied
|
|
Goodmorning. I am new here and wanted to jump right in with a question I hope someone can help me with. I am 29 and I do weights 4 days a week for an hour at lunch, then I go after work for 20-30 of cardio before dinner and I do an hour of mixed cardio and circuit training on the weekends. I just recently started going twice a day during the week and my appetite has increased so much. I used to be fine with a protein bar for breakfast, jerky or some nuts during the day, then a salad with a little protein for dinner. But that is not working anymore. I've been waking up at night and devouring anything I can. So although I have a fear of carbs I started incorporating whole grains into my diet yesterday hoping I would be more satisfied and full longer. I had a BLT with avacado for breakfast today and definitely feel full and satisfied, then I'll try to taper off the carbs toward night. Is this okay? I'm working out really hard to feel and look great. I certainly don't want to sabotage my efforts. Will having a few servings of whole grains each day make me fat? You're help and opinions would be so greatly appreciated! Thanks!
