Default Constant upset stomach and vomitting

When I was little I suffered from daily stomach aches and frequent vomitting. This happened for years until I started modifying my diet a bit and eliminating things like meat and other suspects. I was fine for a while, until I moved to the city two years ago. Something about being here makes me throw up constantly. I can't even go out without a pack of saltine crackers nearby because they settle my stomach enough to stop me from throwing up (hopefully.) It tends to start in the middle of the night, and I feel like my diet isn't even having an effect on it. I still don't eat super greasy foods or meat which I know are really problematic.

I have a suspicion that it may be the water, because I spent my entire life drinking untreated/unfiltered spring water literally right out of the ground. In the city all I have is public treated water with flouride and whatever other chemicals are in there.

Regardless of the reason, I'm getting tired of constant stomach aches and losing sleep because I spent hours throwing up :[ Does anyone have any home remedies or suggestions for medications, over the counter or prescribed? Any kinds of foods (besides saltine crackers, I don't know what I'd do without them) that help?

Thanks for your help!

Are you allergic to dairy? Do you feel sick at home and when you leave the house? Do you keep a food log and track what you ate and when you are feeling sick? You should probably see a doctor, it sounds severe.

Keeping a food log sounds like a very good idea, thank you. I never considered that it might be lactose intollerance, because milk often helped settled my stomach (I think it's basic so it neutralizes the stomach acid a bit.) Do you know what other symtoms might appear with lactose intolerance? Thanks :]

Lactose intolerance, IBS, swelling of the tummy, diarea, feeling nausious, feeling flat....

I first off thought water myself.... Can you not drink spring water purchased and see if this helps.

I had really bad morning sickness with both my boys. Ginger Chews helped a lot.

I used to be able to drink milk all the time. But a few months after I turned 18 it started to upset my stomach if I drank too much of it, so it honestly could be that. A lot of adults aren't able to digest it properly. Also you could try a Britta water filter. I can't stand the water here so I bought one of those and it really helps (as long as I remember to change the filter every month haha) And I agree with the people above, you may want to consult your doctor about it.

I've always been afraid that I might be lactose intolerant since I love cereal and stuff, but I've avoided dairy products for the last 4 days or so to see if it would help. How long after you stopped eating dairy products did it take for the symptoms to go away?

Cereal is my weakness haha, and for me it's like 50/50 that it'll upset my tummy...so I still eat it haha. But if I don't have dairy for a day I feel fine the next day so it's normally like a 24 hour period that I feel better. You may want to ask your doctor for an allergy test, you might just be allergic to something very common. For example, my boss is allergic to like sesame seeds and one of my best friends is allergic to pretty much 70% of everything. I also have a friend who's severely allergic to metal so it could be pretty much anything so you should probably be tested.

Soy milk is really good and goes great with cereal.

I know I've personally tried soy milk...and I didn't like it very much. Like it wasn't gross but it just wasn't milk lol. I do know a lot of people who love it though.
