Hi ladies. A few months ago I had my cholesterol checked and it was rather high. I was shocked because I eat an extremely healthy diet (no fast food, no meat other than boneless skinless chicken, lots of fruits and veggies, 32 ounces of water daily and very little saturated fat). All the suggestions in the pamphlet that I was given by my doctor designed to help people lower cholesterol were things I had always done, and will continue to do. I couldn't make any of the changes it suggested because I was already doing them. I still can't understand why it is so high!
Recently while doing some research on the web I came across information explaining that taking 1 gram of L-carnitine would help lower cholesterol, reduce fatigue, and perhaps help with weight loss. Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm just very curious and I found the supplement at Walgreens and other health supplement stores such as GNC and Vitamin World, so I'm assuming it's pretty popular or at least has existed for quite some time. Any information that you have is greatly appreciated! Thanks so much ladies!
