Thumbs down I'm not sure what the heck's going on with my stomach..

Okay. I'm in highschool and I'm 5"1'. I just barely started my premenstrual cycle and i dont have much of a body. I consider myself very healthy and active. But my stomach..its..its big. I'm not fat, per se. It's my actual organ that I think is stretched out too big. This is probably due to the fact that I have a pretty good appetite most of the time. The stupid thing is, I never gain weight from it. It seems that its just stretching my stomach out more and more. I want to shrink it WITHOUT surgery. Is there any possible way I can do this? Any sort of diet I can try?

Here are some pictures...(maybe I'm developing an eating disorder or something, and when I look in the mirror it looks different than it does to other ppl. Please tell me if this looks odd or strange. Please, don't feel any need to protect my feelings. I need the truth!)

Where is that big? Please don't contemplate surgery...

Fat usually goes to the waistline, that looks more like bloating..

You might be eating some foods that don't agree with you..

Have you ever suffered from IBS? Running to the loo (number2) or opposite, not being able to go at all?

To CHANDLERS...

I must be bloated all the time then, because I've been like this for a month or so now :[[
And as to the IBS thing, well, when I was little I think I had a mild case of that. going about once every week and a half D: okay, I guess that's not rele mild. But its been a while since that. And as to the other stuff, nope.

IBS hangs about for a month or so...

If you had it before, the bug is in your tummy.

You may need to look at what you eat, I think that's all your problem is. Your not digesting certain foods properly.

Why not see a Nutritionist? They can actually pick this up and advise you if that's your problem...

See what other's think as well.

I don't know if you've figured things out or not yet, but oh well

I'm 24 now and I've suffered from digestive issues (at least severe ones) since I was 22. I was unofficially diagnosed with IBS in '07. I have family history of digestive issues, but I think my IBS may be something more. I couldn't afford further tests to disprove other diseases, although I had ab x-rays and blood work done after nearly going to the ER twice in one week and both came back ok.

I've had a "big belly" for as long as I can remember. I'm 5'7'' and average build, but I've always had a little pouch. It DEFINITELY gets worse when I'm not watching what I'm eating.

Try this: Great Taste No Pain - Pain Free in 1 Day download
You need Adobe Reader...but she has everything you need on there...even a link to download Adobe if you don't have it.
This worked WONDERS for me. I've been trying to not be so strict with it (I eat what's on the diet, but not on the specified days) and I think that was a mistake. It's all about combining the right foods, so it's important you only eat what's listed on that day.

I hope that helps. If not, see a doctor.

Good luck!

I just realized...it might not have been ok for me to post that link...oops.

So, if that gets deleted, you should Google "pain free in 1 day download"...it's a PDF download...a diet by Sherry Brescia that works miracles for digestive issues. It's all about combining the right foods. If you do it, follow it STRICTLY.

I've dealt with a lot of what you're dealing with...I've always had a belly pouch that drives me nuts...and no amount of exercise seems to get it to go down. Even when I was super skinny, it was still there.
