Every morning I am going to my work without having breakfast. I just have launch and dinner most of the time. I like drinking tea in the morning.
So I am asking is breakfast important despite that I feel not hungry to the launch time?
    Need your advices….

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Eating when you first wake up is what kickstarts your metabolism. Studies have shown that a high percentage of obese people skip breakfast on a regular basis and sumo wrestlers practice skipping breakfast in their efforts to gain weight.

When you go to bed at night your metabolism slows to a crawl. When you wake up if you do not eat it keeps at a sluggish pace then when you eat later in the day all that food doesn't process and burn as energy as efficently.

Its important to make sure you have energy (food) in your system before working out to keep from becoming lightheaded... and to also make sure that you are getting the most benefit for your efforts.

Critical thinking, blood sugar levels, metabolism, and much more are all affected negetively by skipping breakfast... its pretty important.

Yes Hopeless Dark hit the nail on the head.

I'm not a breakfast person at all, I'm also never hungry in the morning and when I start eating in the morning my stomach turns and I want to bring it all back up. I went through a stage where I didn't eat breakfast at all, but I noticed I started putting a lot of weight on, as my first meal of the day would be lunch. I also noticed that when I didn't eat breakfast I wasn't that hungry during the day either, so it would suit me if I only ate something at dinner time.

Breakfast will also help you concentrate more at work. So I think it's really important that you do eat breakfast to give your metabolism the kick start it needs.

    Hopeless Dark? hehe..

It is the most important meal of the day for all the reasons Hopeless Dork has mentioned.

It allows you to function for the rest of the day, you don't have to have bacon and eggs off course, egg white omlettes, wholegrain toasts and honey, oats, fruits, things that are good for you.

Today I read something that I am going to try, warm water with lime squeezed, or lemon.

Apparently, to drink this first assists in breaking down fats during the day, helps stay slimmer.

    In addition...

If you don't feel hungry in the morning....this indicates that you are eating too much in the evening, or too close to your bed time.

Very, Very good point OTYA. Which tended to be the trend in the study I learned out skipping breakfast.

For me personally when I was very overweight, Id skip breakfast... go to work, get busy, maybe grab a candy bar from a vending machine in the afternoon and that would be all. But then at night...I'd settle in front of the tv and have 1, 2, 3 helpings of dinner and go to bed. Recipe for disaster.

A lot of people have this notiong that very overweight people must sit and eat ALL DAY long huge portions and never stop... while some do, many just eat at the wrong times and pack it on, as was my case. If I had been dispursing that dinner throughout the day rather than just having it all before bed.... I wouldn't have had the weight problem I did.

Breakfast certainly is important but from my experience nothing seems good to me in the morning. The bran cereal is tasteless, the bagel is not even good for you, the muffin is boring, waffles and pancakes no thanks, yogurt no way, eggs not a chance, the only thing I do try and grab is fruit...if we happen to have any. It is tough to remind myself to eat breakfast when the only thing on my mind in the morning is making sure my books are ready and I make the bus.

Yes sometimes I eat much at dinner; I like to have my dinner early because there is long time between launch and dinner.
I think type of work makes sense and not all people have office work. I think some people who have office work they skip breakfast.
Today morning I had breakfast because of your advices
