Hey, Im doing a fatburning regime on Hydroxycut Max! Advanced at the moment with the aim to burn some of that fat I have sitting around my waist and those annoying bingo wings....:S
Im currently trying to exercise daily for at least 30 mins and am trying to eat a high protein diet (shakes, meats, beans etc) while cutting out most of the fats and trying not to eat after 7pm.. Since its my first time on a fat burning pill, does anyone have any good advice with regards to what to eat and how to eat in order to maximise the effect of the fat burning pills?

Thanks!

Hi there, my name is Jennifer and I am a Dietitian from Australia. Although I dont know exactly what is in the pills you are taking, i have to say from the reading I have done on the research of diet pills, the results just dont support any effectiveness. It has more to do with the psychological effect and the other guidelines that come with the product that seem to make the difference. From my knowledge, fat burning is improved as you become fitter and as you build and strengthen muscle. The body tends to burn more fat as it's predominant fuel source when we are fit, and less carbohydrate. Muscle is an active tissue meaning it churns through energy even when youre not moving about. So the more of it you have, the more energy you go through and the more fat you burn. When it comes to food and fat loss what youre trying to do is make sure your metabolism is working fast and efficient and that you control the hormonal response to eating, in particular to carbohydrates. So to keep your metabolism running efficiently you need to eat smaller meals more frequently. To control the hormonal response to food you need to eat low GI foods like grainy breads and legumes, and less refined carbohydrates like white bread and sugars. Higher protein diets might work in the short term but if you are a carbohydrate lover then you need to make a plan that you can stick to long term otherwise whats the point in putting yourself through such deprivation?
