Ugh! I'm so sorry. That has to be so frustrating.
Have you had your thyroid tested? How are your adrenals?
Hi everyone,
I have a problem. I am overweight and sick of it. God help me I have medical conditions and I cannot tolerate a wide range of foods. I cant eat apples, pears, grapes, bananas, oranges, cheese of any kind, I have tried them all even the very light ones. Yoghurt, tomatoes, dressings, sauces, gravy, I could go on. I take vitamins daily to make up for my lousy diet.
I do eat my own home baked brown bread, oatmeal made with water, eaten with just milk, no sugar. potatoes, peas, carrots, pork, beef, chicken, bacon. I love my coffee and I drink loads of water daily. I watch my portion size and I exercise.
I am at a total loss, I cant understand why I cant lose the weight. This is a cry for help, I am so puzzled.

Do you use any kind of butter, condiments, etc?? Also how often do you eat and do you know how many calories you are consuming daily? What type of exercise are you doing? Maybe you could increase your cardio and/or add some additional strength training since muscle mass tends to help boost your metabolism?
I would also get your thyroid checked as sourpuss said, just in case.

Have your complete medical test and concern any good doctor for it.
Also have some sort of good exercise regarding that.
Here are a few factors to consider first, if you haven't done so already:
1) try eating slower to cut amount consumed (perhaps talking more during ameal)
2) Consume more dietary fiber (20g/day)
3) drink plenty of water
4) cut on snacks, suary foods/drinks, and desserts
5) limit calorie dense foods that leave you hungry after
6) get plenty of sleep
7) eat no less than 2 hrs before going to bed
8) try to zero out saturated fats
I would highly recommend eating High Fiber Quaker Oatmeal for break fast. 1 pkg alone contains 10g of daily fiber, which alone is 50% dv.
The thing is... There can be a lot of small bad bits that are adding up to give you the undesired results time and time again.
