I don't think either way is better or worse...
I'd just start with what you feel like most.
If you're extremely thirsty, you might want to start with water because it's quicker.
Other than that, I don't think there's a big difference...
Perhaps it 'feels' a bit hard on the stomach if you first drink something very hot, and then drink something extremely cold. But as long as you don't get into such extremes, I don't think either of these is better or worse.
