    Dude.

    Drink tea!

Any kind, or maybe something with antioxidants in it. It's sooo good for you, and it curbs that appetite.

I LOVE junk food, especially sweet things. But I sit at work at my desk and drink several cups of tea, and then maybe someone gives me a piece of candy or whatever and I literally feel unwell right after eating it. So, there goes that craving!

A big reason why we eat when we're stressed is because we need something to occupy ourselves with, to supplement whatever else activity you're doing. Well, drink tea then! Get a big cup and sip at it, it'll last a long time, you'll be kept busy, and then when you're finished go get another one without any worry for your health.

I don't like tea bags but I use them for work. Easy, sooo cheap, badabing badaboom, and no more of these worries.

That's a really good idea Mes_T I've also recently taken up grapes They are small so I can eat LOTS of them but it's way better for me then snacking on chips or crackers or candy!

I totally agree on the nuts. I do them in small doses, but I find if I get the pistachios with the shell, it takes a bit more time. They also seem to be a bit lower calorie since they are so small (or maybe moreso you just get more of them.)

Thing is not to overdo anything. A handful of nuts or grapes is really good for you, a bagfull, isn't. Air popped, pop corn, without any butter or salt, is a pretty good snack. Sometimes a glass of water will curb a craving, many of us are under-hydrated.
I love tea but it runs through me like a sieve and out in the field working on properties with all the water turned off - that is not a good thing.

Its a good thing that i love eating grapes. Snacking on them to cure my sugar craving is better than eating chocolates.

I would recommend things such as turkish figs, dried apricots, keeping a jar of almond butter (about half the calories of peanut butter, and almonds are great for you) with some yummy crackers in your desk. Also I really enjoy snacking on some wasabi peas or wasabi beans (you can get them plain too with no wasabi). I make sure I eat something healthy at least every two hours and I'm constantly either drinking tea (white or green) or water. It seems as if I make myself go without food, I'm WAY more likely to binge on something bad for me. Like "I"m SO HUNGRY, I think I"ll splurge and have a chicken strips and fries from McDonalds!". But if you snack lightly on healthy things throughout the day, way less likely to ever feel hungry.
There's no good to be had from baked sweets, like cakes, cookies, and all the stuff office women seem to love (I think the women in mine are the worst about it! haha!) But if you maintain self control on a regular basis, then when it's someones birthday you won't feel as guilty about enjoying a small piece of cake.

I eat a lot from stress and boredom. I was doing pretty good on my diet I started a month ago up until this past weekend when work stress got to me, causing me to munch. My stress snacking is so bad sometimes it causes me to gain a few pounds. it's like when I start I can't stop.. I could also use some helpful tips on what I can do to help conquer this.
