    Hey!
    Hows everyone?

    Well as some of you all know im pregnant again .
    I can now admit that i have a problem, eating too much junk!
    I thought i could have this under control but i just cant, its out of whack. Ive always loved sweets as a kid and now as an adult i get outta control with it. Ive been gaining weight pretty fast in this pregnancy and i know most of it is from the sweets i eat. You know how people says eat just a little or pORtion control it...well i cant seem to do that...most times.

    I just wanted to know if anyone ever stopped eating sweets completely and how did you do it or how can i go about doing it? I would like to not eat it for about 2 weeks or so and then i can probably train myself to eat just a little, or even stop completely throughout my pregnancy. Im frustrated about this, im really out of control! HELP!

    I'm in the same boat as you, Patricia! My boyfriend and I are more thinking about TTC than TTC for real, but I've been deeply considering my eating habits because of it. I can't portion control sweets to save my life. I'll eat a good dinner and then sit down ... thirty minutes later I'll grab a bag of jellybeans and finish it off. Candy doesn't last more than a few days.
    I was considering going to the store for some jellybeans, but your thread made me pass I don't know how I'm going to break the habit, but I'll be waiting with you for advice.

    I feel you girl..its hard! I eat pretty well most times but then in the evening is mostly when i get out of control and just eat up whatever we have left...I find my self sometimes running to the corner store to grab me a bag of m & m's when we are out of junk. Gotta stop!

    This isn't completely NOT eating junk, but I keep dum dums and gum with me constantly. It keeps my mouth occupied and my hands. But you still have to control it. With me, if I have a dum dum, I make sure to suck on it and make sure not to bite into it, as that obviously defeats the purpose.

    Jolly Ranchers are good for this too. Anything that you can suck on, I think helps, because it gives you something in your mouth. That way you are totally not eliminating it because let's face it, if you are told not think of the pink elephant, well, you think of the pink elephant.

    Just a thought, anyways.
