    That would be vitamins A, C, E, and B6.
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.

Try Echinacea. I was sick 7 times over the span of 6 consecutive months before adding this to my regular multi vitamin routine and it's worked wonders.

    Be careful of:
    1) Taking supplements of single vitamins e.g. B6
    2) Vitamin A is essential but can be toxic at levels that are easily achieved from diet along, so avoid taking supplements that contain vit A or b-carotene

To boost immunity do the simple things first:
    1) Restful sleep; 6 to 8 hours should be enough for most people
    2) Physical activity: moderate levels most days, e.g. use pedometer and aim for 6,000 to 10,000 steps a day
    3) Plenty of fluids (non-alcohol): 8-10 cups a day
    4) If you smoke, stop
    5) If you drink, stick to government advice on healthy levels
    6) Maintain a healthy weight: BMI 18-25
    7) Healthy balanced diet *Removed outbound link*

If want to take vitamin supplements
    a) Avoid vitamin A containing supplements
    b) take a good quality multivitamin that has at least 100% RDA level of all vitamin and mineral
    c) but take a separate supplement for calcium (it prevents the absorption of other minerals)
    d) Take vitamin D at 25 ug (1,000 IU) a day
    e) Have the recommended amount of essential fatty acids from either oily fish, seed oils or supplements

This. Also, try getting more vitamin C. I started taking Echinacea every day, and it's made a huge difference.
