    Hello!
I guess I'll start with some general info. I'm 18 years old, 5'4", about 105 lbs. I'm obviously petite, but despite my small size, I am not by any means "toned". I have not been very physically active in nearly 4 years and I have been blessed with being able to eat anything that I want without any weight gain or major body change. Now I am in college and have free access to a really nice gym, so I am creating a daily workout regimen and attempting to eat much better for both my health and body. I really want to gain muscle and still keep my feminine build. I am open to any advice I can get, nutritional or fitness, but I am requesting help to construct a lunch and dinner meal plan that can help my progress. I have a lot of stomach issues that prevent me from being able to eat when I first wake up without being sick for the rest of the day, so I rely on lunch and dinner and small snacks throughout the day. I am not very educated in this field so I would really appreciate any input. My main goal is to be able to majorly TONE my legs, butt, and stomach with a daily workout and effective diet. Sorry this is so long, but hopefully I've included enough info. Thanks SO much!!

Hey Inr! It's tough to assess this for you without knowing your personal likes/dislikes when it comes to working out; what you've tried before; etc...every person is different, and can find different "sweet spots" even within the same general diet ideology. I personally stick to whole foods - grass-fed and pastured meats, eggs, tons of veggies, healthy fats, some nuts & berries here & there, and through this have conquered sugar & carb addiction, resolved digestive issues, eczema & hormonal acne, and improved my athletic performance (I do yoga and CrossFit). I try to stay away from processed foods and anything that requires a label (I believe if it requires a label, it's not real food!) There are lots of "experts" out there and many of them have totally conflicting ideologies, so I'd encourage you to explore more options and see what approach speaks to you! Same when it comes to working out - some folks love high-intensity, dynamic programs (that's why I'm a CrossFit junkie - it's different every day!) and others like linear progression more and static strength work; others like steady-pace cardio. What jumps out at you?

Yes as cavegirl says, you really just need to try different things to establish what you enjoy doing. You need to enjoy exercise or you simply won't stick at it.

Does your college hold any fitness classes? They're my favourite form of exercise and I'd strongly recommend them to anyone who hasn't tried them before.
