Ask almost anyone in here and they will tell you that it's more about lifestyle changes...permanent lifestyle changes...then it is cleanses or diets.
Adopting the things you mention above, into your daily diet, sound like good ideas for the rest of your life compared to just a short time to reach a short term goal.
I don't know anyone that can't use more "vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, and beans " in their diet and less "meat, dairy, breads, pastas, desserts, and processed sugars."
The advice you have given is good sound advice for everyone.
I have never followed the strict vegan lifestyle, so I don't have an answer to your question, sorry.
