So here I am today sitting at my PC, deciding to make myself accountable. I have no one to turn to in my world...they all think I am nuts. LOL! I believe in natural healing. So, when I mention the words "colon cleanse" they think I have lost it. Well, for those of you out there who know all about natural health....colon cleansing is just a step in the right direction. But before I can even embark on that journey I need to get off my caffeine addiction.
A few weeks ago I had a week paid vacation. I decided that was a great time to start a cleansing. I decided to go cold turkey off the caffeine. I will NOT do that again. I had reeling headaches, was nauseated and even vomited. Needless to stay it took me about one day to get back into my old habits. Since cutting my job down to part time hours, I feel I have no excuse but to start taking better care of myself. I suffer from many ailments, that while are not life ending at the moment, they are very consuming. They affect my every day doings. One day, I will list my ailments and the research I found for the causes. It is amazing how everything comes back down to a colon cleanse.
I am so excited to get started on this journey. But baby steps is what will keep me going. First step if the caffeine. How much is too much? I drink about 8 oz of coffee in the morning and maybe a cola with my lunch. I guess it's enough to send my right back into my old habits, if I can't even go a day without it. WOW!
So far....
Day 1: 8 oz. coffee.
Good Luck! I know the cleansing is a tough undertaking....especially when your friends think you're nuts. I see this was in April. How are things going?
