There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
Warm water and lemon juice is a great way to supress appetite....
However, it should be used as say, a snack replacement definately not as meal replacements.
To lose weight, forget take-aways, canned food, eat only 200gms of meat and grilled, preferrably white meat with no fat, always add as many veg or salad as you can, fresh...
If you are hungry have a piece of fruit, handful of nuts, some yoghurt..
Breakfast I eat scrambled eggs (2) in a small amount of butter and low fat milk, no bread...You'll find you feel fuller for longer.

Also has a great alkaline-forming effect in the body. The western diet with animal proteins and grains is terribly acidic, causing the body in some cases to have to leach calcium from the bones to help balance the blood's pH, a possible cause of women's bone density issues.
A very acidic juice, its mineral content is alkaline-forming when metabolized, making it a great supplemental drink to have on hand as part of any health-oriented program on a regular basis. I'd just make sure it was highly diluted, and be conscious of the acidity on the teeth, and would use spring water and organic lemons, as compared to tap water and ordinary lemons.
I don't no if it helps with weight loss but it does wonders for nausea!
