    Default Best vitamins for anti-aging

    Hello,

I'm in my mid-30's and am looking for input regarding vitamins that aid in the anti-aging process. I do all the general basics, wear sun screen, get most of my vitamin intake from whole foods and lead an active lifestyle. Anyone have any input or suggestions? Thanks!

I take Born Essentials the doctor that put them together is fantastic and provides great advice on the website. They just added a part about anti-aging too. The packet I get has multivitamin, omega-3, vitamin-d, and CoQ10. All of which are benefits for anti-aging. Especially the omega-3 and CoQ10. You can buy them about anywhere but be careful because there are a lot of companies that mislead you as to the actual mg you are taking. Also, make sure your Omega-3 does not contain heavy metals. That is severely damaging to your skin and will age you faster than anything. I'm not supposed to post links but it is BornEssentials if you want more information. I highly recommend it to anyone.

I also agree with ADowden's point of view that omega 3 is the best for anti aging...

Grapeseed extract is also beneficial in aging gracefully. USANA's proflavanol does wonders too.

Sometimes we don't need vitamins to look young. Just always smile, always think of happy thoughts and avoid stress and negative vibrations.

The best tip for anti-aging is using antioxidants. They come in large proportions with such products as blueberries, cranberries and red beans.

I use a greens supplement, an omega 3 supplement, and a supplement called Alpha Lipoic Acid.

It's kept me looking about 5-7 years younger than my true age.

Also I fear the sun, and try to avoid it as much as possible, and slather sunscreen even if I'm only going outside for 20 mins.

Don't forget a good water filter as well. I also have a shower filter.

Don't just get any Greens supplement either. A lot are crappy.

I've had great results with CytoGreens and Barlean's Greens. I usually mix the two together.
    Pigeonholer extraordinaire!
