gasp! give up coffee! Ive been trying to replace coffee with orange juice or organic tea.. but it only works for a few days. I know its bad for me. I think I'll try this cleansing thing-- it sounds very interesting...

Like all things in life moderation is good idea. Don't over do it. Ememas done daily for too long can result in a lazy bowel - it will just quit acting on it's own, so don't over do that. A few days (or a couple weeks) of fasting can make you feel great but a generally healthy diet all the time is important. Healthful eating isn't just the food, it's the sensory experience, the preparation, and sharing. We all ignore that aspect too often, I know I do!

    hello all,
I agree that cleanses are very good for the body, more energy and the feeling of vitality. I have tried several herbal versions over the years, and some are good.

I did find that the Master Cleanse one was too hard, no food at all and just maple syrup, cayenne and lemon juice.

I had no idea people fasted for these reasons lol.
I'm 24, and I fast every year for 40 days (I'm catholic, I fast for Lent).
Its not really something I enjoy, and Lent is the only time I will ever do it.
The first few days i'm energetic but thats simply my body using up the rest of the energy it has. After the first week, it sucks and all I think about is big macs lol

this sounds really excellent...im very very into holistic remedies and caring for my body based on the foods i eat and not relying on medicine...however i was a little bit confused by the "prep" day for the actual fasting (sorry not to be gross...but what is it that you use as a bowl cleanser?)

    Default Prep Days

are of utmost importance, because only when the bowel is empty you feel good about fasting, otherwise hunger, headaches and cravings will trip you up.
Two days leading up to the fast it is recommended to have a light diet only, fruit, vegies, rice... then for the bowel cleanse you can either use an enema or colon irrigation ( I have a home kit, works fantastic) or use something like bowel prep that you should be able to get over the counter (at least here in Australia you do), but I am sure your chemist can advise you on that too.
Most bowel preps are magnesium based, some powder that you mix with water and down it straight, it works fast and efficient, I just prefer a more predictable approach

    wishing you success
    cheers

Yes, its really a great! Getting rid of toxins is very easy with colon cleanser and without any side effects. It flushes out all your waste.

I fast for 24 hours once a week. On the fast day, I take a normal full breakfast of musli cereal with soya milk, a cup of vegetable juice and a healthy soya shake. Then, I eat only fruits at dinner and drink only water. Feels great!

I used the shampoo to clean my heals. I take the shampoo(hair shampoo) and mix it with warm water and put my heals into that water for 10 to 15 minutes. then, it becomes so clean and soft.
