    Default Plastic surgery in bolivia

    Hi Greyyank,
I already bought my flight ticket to go to Bolivia, and I will be in Bolivia for my plastic surgery on March, 2010.
I organized my trip with MakeoverTravel just because I have confidence in them and above all because my own sister and her best friend already had their plastic surgery in July 2006 so 6 months ago.
So when I read your post I just wonder:
For what kind of company do you work ? Do you work for a medical tourism company in Argentine? In Brazil ? Or maybe in Bolivia?

    To reply your post:

    1) From the beginning I always contacted MakeoverTravel though their mail:
    contact at (edit)
Just try to send an email and you will see that the email is valid and also open your eyes or use glasses because this email is wrote in their website. (I don’t think they put an invalid email in their website).
I personally always used this email and I never had any problem.

    2) I also use their second email when I need to speak with my assistant without the necessity to call her. You didn’t wonder why they also provide a Hotmail address???
Let me explain you something logical…
Most of patients like me need to get in contact with their assistant and hotmail is (I think) the best way to get in contact with your assistant when you need to ask her something. It’s quick and above all it’s FREE, you don’t need to waste money in an international call.
I think that thanks to their experience they understood it since years.

    3) What is the problem if the number is in Mexico? There is nothing “secret”. In their website you will see that at the end of each page this text:
That means they have an office in Bolivia and in Mexico but their Main Branch is in Mexico, so to make your reservation you have speak with an assistant in Mexico..It’s named a “Call Center”. Is it complicated to understand?

    4) It’s good you talk about posts in other forums. Did you saw the date of some posts? There are posts that talk about MakeoverTravel from 2003. We are in 2010!!! I think it’s maybe one of the first medical tourism company in the world and one of the company that was the most awarded in Bolivia and Internationally!!

    5) To finish I would like to tell you something about your sentence “They are just a bunch of wiseguys trying to make a quick buck”. Before my sister took the decision to travel to Bolivia, she compared nearly all the agencies that provide plastic surgery in Brazil, Bolivia and Argentine.
MakeoverTravel is the unique company that doesn’t ask you 1 dollar before you arrive in Bolivia.
They don’t ask you 1 dollar before you meet the surgeon and all the medical team that will perform your surgery.
They don’t ask you 1 dollar before you see your room in the hotel.
They don’t ask you 1 dollar before you see the clinic where your surgery will take place and the most important… the day of your arrival they introduce you with other patients in your hotel (who already had their surgery done) in order you can see the work of your future plastic surgeon on REAL patients.
Only after all of that you pay your package, and this amount is paid the day of your surgery.

Do you know people as honest as them? Until the last moment they give the opportunity to choose whether you want to do your surgery or not.

It’s the unique plastic surgery company that only asks you the copy of your flight ticket to make the reservation of your entire trip.

Thanks god, my sister went to Bolivia and she explained me everything, because if I read your post before flying to Bolivia I just cancel my trip.
So my question is the same that at the beginning of my post. Just tell us for what medical tourism company are you working for?

I think the problem is that MakeoverTravel has become in few years one of the medical tourism companies who receives more patients, and the other companies need to post false testimonials like yours to create a bad reputation of this company.

I have other questions for you. Please contact me as I am hesitate to proceed with breat augmentation in Bolivia after the posts that I have read. Yours is the only one I feel may be legit. I'm so confused after reading all of these reviews.
    Thank you
