Thread: nipple sensation after removing implants

Hi,

I have implants for almost 6 years now. I am considering removing them. I think I am ready to face my very very little breast I had before. I lost, in some degree, sensation in my nipples after the surgery. Could anybody advise if it will be back after removing?

When in my 20's I considered implants (I'm very small too) but didn't bc of this possibility amoung others. I guess it's possible the implant is compressing some of the nerves and that when removed sensation will return over time. I think it's also possible that nerves were severed during the surgary and that sensation will not return. I expect your doc will not gaurantee either way.
