Default Saline or Silicone??? Breast Augmentation as a prize:)

    Hey there,

A few weeks ago I won a free breast augmentation on a radio show. I had my first appointment with the doctor and he asked me about what type of implants I wanted Saline or Silicone? I told him Saline ( I have no idea why) But some how the Silicone are more expensive and I had to pay out of my pocket for the difference since the prize only qualified me for Saline.

My question is which is better Saline or Silicone? I would not mind paying a little more if I had too. Please help me to choose one. I have my surgery date for May 27th.

    I am size 36A and I picked size D cup. I am 5'10" tall.

Maybe I am not cultured in law but something about 'winning' a pair of fake boobs from a radio station screams illegal not to mention immoral. Not only that but I would put my money on a plastic surgeon saying "uh no I cannot do the surgery" after learning that you won them from what I am going to guess is a less than reputable radio station. That is just my opinion though.

I agree with ItsaSecret, this just screams suspicious. Plus, I don't approve of fake boobs anyway, it's disgusting, screw the media, be proud of who and what you are.

I thought it was a scam too but I ask all questions possible and it turns out that this Doctor is doing a promotion to get more business (spend money to make money). He is approved by the Board of Plastic Surgens and some other one also. I have seen some of his patients and he has done a really good job on them. But anyways It is a real thing not just this radio station but there is other radio station that do something similar to this.

And to think I was saving up money for the breast augmentation. I have done all my research and I am happy with this Doctor.

I know some people don't like fake boobs, and I strongly respect your decision. But this was my choice to have them and I am very happy to get them.

    Uh.

DO SOME RESEARCH into the differences between silicone and saline (and I mean, hours and sleepless nights' worth of research). Breast implants are a really big deal.

From what I've heard (and this was a while ago), saline feels and looks more natural. Not sure how true that is...

Do some homework woman! And let us know how it goes.

I recommend the silicone cohesive gel "gummy bear" implants. I have had both saline and silicone. Both silicone and saline feel quite natural now and both can look good- its difficult to tell the difference, but some people don't want silicone in their bodies. Others don't want the *slightly* firmer feel of salines or the "ripple effect."

I got silicones for my second boob job because silicon implants last longer. Although there's no guarantee, on average saline implants last 5-10 years and silicone last 10-20 years. That's something nobody ever told me about salines... they also shrink 1-2% every year because they lose a little bit of saltwater. My boobs got saggy from not always wearing a sportsbra when I had salines.

*Always wear a bra or sportsbra, even to bed.* Of course, its ok to take it off in the shower at the beach, during sex or whatever but generally don't make it a habit of not wearing a sportsbra. It will make your implants look a lot better for a lot longer.

You can pm me with more questions. I went through hours, maybe days of research when I got my implants and many of my friends have implants as well.

Default I got my boobs now :D

So its been 2 days since my surgery and I feel great. I have no swelling or brusing the only Problem is that my left nipple is numb but according to my doctor he said that it was likely to happen because my breast were to tight. I did go for a size D, but with my. Body it looks like a medium C.
I am super happy how my recovery is going. I was even able to take my kids to the park yesterday. I am taking my. Antibiotics and pain medicine as recommended by my Dr.

I was a dance instructor, and met many women with fake boobs. Every last one said it was worth every bad symptom and pain they had to go through and loved them. None of them had saline, so I don't know about that.

    Hey there,
So I did it!!!!! I am so happy. They look perfect, normal and cemetrical. I honestly never thought they would turn out like this. I went for the Saline, D's but I would have like DD's but I am great this way. I really don't remember much after the surgery but the recovery was fast. My cut is under the boob, But it looks like a small cut. I would recommended it to anyone.
