Default Do you know any acne treatment that works?

I have a big acne problem since I turned 16, and I don't know how to get rid of it
I tried almost all acne creams with no success so I'm wondering if there is any other treatment that I can try?

Eat a healthy diet with lots of fresh fruits and veggies. Cut out soda, refined sugars, and fried foods. Get plenty of sleep and exersize. Use a natural or gycerine soap and a light, unscented, nonoily lotion.

Drink LOTS of water too, in order to flush out your system. Your body weight, divided by two, is a good target to work towards. Most of us are way under hydrated.

I'm 26 and although it's not as bad as highschool it still gets pretty bad. I'm a hormonal mess (pmdd) and have tried everything. Just started on the Yasmin pill even tho it can make u crazy (I'm hoping that asbi already am it may fix that too!) proactive helps a little but not a great deal. Lots of water IS good but don't flush yourself like a toilet. There are certain foods that may help or hinder but they are hormonally determined and it's hard to pinpoint them. I'm better when I don't consume too much dairy and sugar but soy milk is unstable hormonally and can be worse. Don't use anything on your skin with alcohol in it, it may dry it out a little and give u some relief but when the skin is too dry it produces more oil to compensate for the missing oil and causes more bacteria to get trapped. Try flaxseed oil it's an anti inflamitory but it's pretty yuk. I should make myself take it (two tablespoons daily) but it makes me gag! I know it sucks and it's hard for ppl who have always had nice skin or only moderate pimples as a teen to understand. Wash your skin with anything that is petrochemical free and colour free etc the more natural the better and it won't feed it so much.

I had acne during my teens and early twenties. I still get breakouts occasionally, but I found that Murad worked quite well for me. Recently, I've started using a skin care regimen by Elizabeth Grant and that has virtually stopped breakouts, even though this line isn't designed specifically for acne.

    Default Controlling acne

Birth control really keeps acne under control. I was on it from 16 to 21 and seriously could go to bed with makeup and still not get acne! However, I decided to stop taking it because I was tired of being on medication and now I have awful acne.... I can't decide whether or not I should go back on the pill (despite my concern for being on it for several years). If you can or want to go on birth control, it will definitely clear up your skin! I also love my Clarisonic brush, it makes my skin feel really clean (even if I do have some pimples)
