Thread: Breast Implants or Breast Lift

Its rarely a matter of breast lift or breast implants as a matter of pure choice when it comes to asthetics of them. Its usually 2 different issues at play there. If a woman wants implants, its generally for augmentation purposes as in ... wanting a larger cup size. If a woman is happy with her cup size, but unhappy that her nipples point south and breasts are sagging... a lift is generally the option. HOWEVER... A woman not necessarily wanting to go bigger, yet wanting her natural perk back... may opt for breast implants to accompany the lift in cases where there is so much volume loss to the breasts (usually due to weightloss, etc).

So a woman without sagging breasts wanting to go bigger might opt for implants
A woman with sagging breasts but not wanting to go bigger might opt for a breast lift
A woman with sagging breasts but not wanting to go bigger might opt for a lift AND implants, not to increase size... but just to replace volume loss
A woman with sagging breasts and wanting to get bigger would likely opt for lift and implants... however may end up not needing implants to obtain her desired sized once the breasts are lifted.

I would definitely shop around more, JNS.

HD, I see your point and as far as the first doc appointment I had, he suggested lift with implant because of volume. I'm a little bit concerned about the implants though - how my body would respond to it. Has anyone had any experiences with implants and are willing to share experiences - good or bad?

I was told if the nipple sags below the fold u need a lift otherwise an implant will do. Implants r much easier and I have them. I love them, after breastfeeding and having saggy boobs the implants made them SPECTACULAR I used to be a stripper and was told they were the best ever seen. If u do wanna have them done and live in the soCal area go see dr stuart Kincaid. He's amazing if u decide to go that route.
