Talking Saving for Cosmetic Surgery? COME ON IN!

Hi Ladies,

I've been looking all over the internet for a Breast Augmentation Savings Support Forum and stumbled on this board.

Anyway, I have already decided to get breast augmentation (very excited) and have started saving. I've tried to save for it before but got discouraged as it is quite expensive and ended up blowing the $ on push-up bras, makeup, some over-priced designer jeans, or some other less expensive pick-me-up.

So, I thought I would start a support thread for those of us who are saving up to get our hottie on (whether it's BA or some other cosmetic procedure)! I figure it will be around $10K and I'm willing to give up the lattes, manicures, and eating out to get there faster.

Anyone relate?

I can totally relate! I've had a series of major knee surgeries that have left me with pins in my leg and severe arthritis! I put on 4 stone in weight (56 pounds) from not being able to walk for a while. I can walk fine now put am limited and can't exercise! I've lost 3 of the 4 stone but can't shift the last part as it's all around my thighs and arse! I can't exercise them die to the knee pain so.................I want it sucked out! lol
I've got a written quote for £3,000 ($6,000 roughly) I figured I could buy a new couch and spend a bit of money on the house or save up and spend it on my butt! I'm a little scared though! I've had loads of wurgeries but none elective! I've heard horro stories about it being very painful etc! Still I would so love to loose the lumpy area attached to me! lol
So the saving starts here!

I'm totally there!

I have a beautiful little boy who is almost 2. He's the best thing that ever happened to me! Needless to say, I have (what is hereditary and no oils creams or lotions can help with it ladies---so quit trying!) stretch marks all over my belly! It's like a freakin road map! (anyone relate?) so, I'm totally down for a tummy tuck, being the only way to get them freakin out of my life!

So yes, the savings start here. I'm actually going to get the surgery for myself on my 21st b-day! Nov 25th - 2009 baby! totally looking forward to it!

I had gastric bypass 3.5 years ago and want to start saving for removal of the excess skin and maybe liposuction to remove the weight I have been unable to loose. I like how I look to an extent, but I really would like to get rid of this pouch that has been created.
