Thread: Pls Help anyone!!! I want to get pregnant

Hello!! guys, I have been married for 4 months now to my high school sweetheart, whom we dated for almost nine years. Last year february (2007) i had a still born of 7 month. After which i started taking a birth control pills because i felt that i was not ready. This year i stopped using the pills in march, so April was my first month without pills. Ever since then i have been using the ovulation calanders in the internet to calculate the days that i am most fertile.

From may, june and july, i was trying to have sex during those period and still nothing happened. In August, on the day that i was suppose to ovulate i had some bleeding, for a day. I was very worried that something is wrong with me and my reproduction system. We did not have sex fro three days from that day coz we were thinking it is not good for my husband's health. From the day i started feeling minor abdominal pains, that went on to the whole of september month.

Okay, one thing the i should say is that, when i was in the pill i was 28 day cycle, which lasted until august this year on the 3rd. In september i had my period again on the third, which means my cycle had changed from 28 days to 30 days, now this month i had my periods on the 2nd of october.

What need to know is how long does it take after using the pills does the ovulation return. And the fact that i had bleeding in August and my cycle has changed, does it mean it was a sign that my ovulation has returned.

Is it true that if i start having sex from the 13th day to the 16th day counting from the first day of my period i will be able to get pregnant?

Pls help, i get confused when my body does this funny things, anyone out there pls help, i need a child with all my heart.

Yes, you are right about your fertile days being somewhere between the 12th or 13th day up to about the 16th day from the first day of your period. Usually you can become pregnant about 3 months after you stop taking the pills so you are not really that bad off. And keep in mind that stressing about trying to get pregnant can really mess up your period. Try to ( I know it's near impossible) not stress and it will happen. I have 4 children and my husband and I are desperately trying for another but for reasons unknown have not been able to conceive in 8 years. I really wouldn't worry after only a few months. I completely understand that you want a baby but the key is patience and it will happen! I wish you the best of luck! I'm also very sorry to hear about your loss. I too have lost 2 children although nowhere near that far along. That is truly heartbreaking but have faith that you will soon have the joy of a little one!
