I am guessing that it would be because hot tubs are wayyyyy too hot. Your baby needs to maintain normal body temprature. I am sure it would be ok if the hot tub heat had been turned on low and allowed to cool off for several hours.
Hot Tub Question
hello, Does anyone know why you are not suppose to get in the hot tub if you are pregnant. We have been trying, but I haven't taken a test yet. We had friends over the other night & we got in it, but I thought the whole time that I might be pregnant. I didn't get all the way in, but I was still in it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for your reply. Since I sent this message I have taken a test & I am not pregnant, so I wasn't pregnant when I got in. I was just scared that I might have been & got in the hot tub & messed up. I just know now that I won't get in, it is too risky. Thanks again for your help.
