Question What to take to get pregnant... TTC

I have heard that taking 2 table spoons of cold and cough medicine a day can help you to concive. I was just wondering if there are any other things that I would beable to take to help me concive quicker. I dont want to spend money going to a doctor and taking injections to concive. I would just like a little help. Any Ideas on how to concive quicker? Like sex possitions? I have a tilted cervix and I'm having lots of trouble. I have also been off of depo since April of 2008. I was on Depo for about 2 years and it messed me up badly. I have hypothyrodism there for my BMI is about 30... (I know I'm fat) I try to lose the weight because I know it would help me to concive and have a healty pregnancy but I'm having trouble. Any help will work!
-thanks!!

Lots of sex at the right time of the month.

Depo can mess you up for a long time I've heard. A friend of mine didn't even have a period for two years after going off of it. So you may just have to be patient. Use this time to get back in shape, lose weight and get healthy for your pregnancy. Stressing about it is only going to make it worse.

I'm not a doctor by any means but taking over the counter cold medicine on a daily basis sounds pretty bad for your body. If you feel you need to take something then maybe a prenatal vitamin would be better.

I think they are all relatively the same. I think they are higher in folic acid and maybe calcium than regular multi-vitamins. If you go to a health foods store there is usually someone there who is knowledgeable about vitamins, they should be able to help you find a good one.

Thanks. I will compare and contrast both of them when I head off to the store. Probobly the more expensive one is more money only because of a name brand or something. I have come to find out that names add to the price of meds. lol. I think its the stupidest thing when one med has the same as the other and is way over priced. Thanks for the advice.
