Thread: can preg. happen right after bcps?

everybodys different, some people it happens straight away. it took me a full year with my first, straight away with my 2nd then 5 mths with my 3rd. just try and be relaxed about the whole thing, i think thats why it took me a year the first time b/c i was so stress about wanting it to happen straight away. its perfactly normal to try for a year before anything happens, i never knew that 6 years ago, i firmly believed that something was wrong with me, ( my husband already had twins 4 years before we met). i think your fertility will go back to normal quite quickly since youve only been on the pill for 5 mths. i had been taking it for 5 years.

I agree with claire q. Everyone is different. The information I had read about the pills was it can take up to a year to wear off. I was on the shot for a year after my first child then I switched to the pill for 3 months. I stopped taking it so I could get pregnant again and it took about 3 months. Then after the second was born I was on the pill for one year and it only took one month before I got pregnant with my third.

So relax and take it easy. The more you concentrate on it the harder it will be for your body to accept it because it will be so stressed from trying.

My advice is: REALLY REALLY REALLY enjoy the baby making process. The more creative the better :P

hi im tweety like you and me and boyfriend decided to have a baby my second his first i have been off my pills about well not even a month yet however the last 3 days before my free pills as i call them i didnt not take my pills so i missed the 3 days before my period and i havent taken them since. now we had sex right before my period and then again a day or two after.i had my period as usual and now it has been about 2 or 3 weeks and i have started spotting a light pinkish color stomach cramping i thought maybe i was about to have another period i also have mild headaches everyday i also urinate alot at first having the feeling that i have to go but i dont always go so i thought maybe i hade a uti or bladder infection but i wasnt having any other symtoms of any of those. my breast arent feeling tender nor am i having morning sickness so of course i took a preg test and it came back neg but im still having the same symtoms. my boyfriend also noticed a line on my lower stomach that he says he never noticed before and i dont know if you all now that say u get that line on your lower stomach but some women do so i dont know what to do. do you think im preg and since the test said neg i dont kno if its two early or maybe im just stressed help me understand this whole thing
