Hi there...I am kind of in the same situation right now. I am 25 and I was on bc for about 5 years (been off for 2 years now) and we have been trying to get pregnant with no luck. I am one of those types who reads every thing i can get my hands on dealing with this topic...especially since we aren't getting pregnant. I can give you some facts that may put your mind at ease. First of all after getting off of bc it doesn't take your system long to recover. I had the same question and my doc told me 2 months top so i wouldn't worry about that. Second, every month you actually try to get pregnant you only have a 20-25% of actually conceiving. I have heard that women with no fertility problems average 6 months of trying before they actually conceive, that is why doctors tell you to try for a full year before worrying about fertility problems. The best thing you can do is lead a healthy lift and don't worry about it too much.
