Thread: Need some clarifcation

I had my uterus scared(or the lining of my uterus burned) about 3 weeks ago and the doctor told I could not have any more childern. But at the recent check up he told I still can get pregnant and to us some form of birth control. I was wanting to know if I can't get pregnant because of the procedure why do I have to use birth control.
