Exclamation Negative Preg Test, Some Cramping, no Period... ideas?

    Hi there,

My girlfriend and I are pretty curious what might be going on right now...

First off, we always have protected sex (she is on the pill + I wear a condom + I pull out).

The last time we had sex was on 2/27/09 (8 days ago), before that would have been like 2/13/09.

She had her last period on 2/1/09 and her cycle is usually 28 to 29 days which means she should have had her period no later than about 3/4/09, which means her period is now about 3 days late.

She took 1 pregnancy test (answer brand) on Thursday, it came back negative.

It was a two pack, so she decided to take the 2nd one Friday morning when she first went to the bathroom. Again, it came back negative.

Today, we bought another 2-pack, this time it is the "First Response" brand, which is supposed to be very sensitive. She took it in the afternoon and it came back negative.

    -She isn't having any nausea
-Her breasts are not sensitive at all
-She *is* having cramps, which she says are not as bad as they usually are, but she has been having them on and off since about 3/3/09

    Some other things worth noting...
-she recently just moved out of her house and into her parent's house mid-february.
-she has had a pretty stressful month with school and what not
-she used to have her period the day before her mom started and her mom started thursday (3/5/09)... her mom was also a bit late.

Any other questions let me know... she is seeing a gyno next week, so we really want to know what important questions she should ask, and also know what possibilities might be going on to cause this.

    Thanks.

Another thing I forgot to mention is on 2/24/09 she had what we thought was a day-flue... she basically woke up early in the morning (about 5am) with the feeling that she had to throw up, but didn't... she went back to sleep and then she woke up around 8 to get ready for school and then did throw up. That was it for throwing up, although for the rest of the day she did have stomach pain and nausea feeling. The next day she was fine.

The reason we figured it was a day flue, though, was a friend in her area had basically the same issues the following day.
