Thread: Cramps after sex

Why am I having cramps after unprotected sex? I have noticed a very slight amount of bleeding after--I am expecting my period in about 1 1/2 or 2 weeks. Am I reading too far into this? I don't want to go to the dr just yet, even with insurance, it's still pricey just to go pee in a cup or have blood drawn. We have been trying to conceive but only in the last week--what are the chances I'm pregnant? Any responses are appreciated!

Hi. As far as the cramps and bleeding, the cramps really wouldn't concern the wife and I too much. Bleeding would concern us but I'm not sure it would be enough to get us to go to the DR.If she bled everyday, then we would just count it as an early period. But my wife and I would definitely keep an eye on things.You cannot lose if you if you go to the DR. I would think it would be worth it if something is out of the ordinary when trying to conceive. But you know your financial situation and I don't.
As far as getting pregnant, my wife is from Ecuador and they have large families there.My wife has told me that she has had relatives that conceived
after having sex just once. And just the opposite,some would need help conceiving. So I would relax and enjoy the intimacy and leave the rest in God's hands.
