Well ladies...I am 27 yrs old, married, and have a 6 yr old(from a prev relationship) and have a 9yr old step-child, and I have BABY FEVER!! Is this normal for my age?
My husband wants us to wait about 5 more years but I dont know how i feel about waiting that long. Plus I def dont want to wait until my mid 30s just cause risks are higher..YES, i know PLENTLY of women have VERY healthy babies from their mid 30s and beyond, I would just feel better If i had a baby before my mid 30s...(even thought my hubby does not believe me that the risks are higher!) Ive never had the fever like this but I dont want to be selfish and pressure him in to getting me pregnant before hes ready just to make ME happy, so can anyone tell me how long does this "fever" last and once this "fever" goes away will it come back? (i want it to eventually come back for when my hubby is ready!)

    Thanks,

    Lisa

Hi Dear, Im only 24 and pregnant with our first baby, but I had baby fever for 5 years, and my husband wasnt ready. I know its very different because 19 is VERY young, but I believe the emotions surrounding it are still the same. I decided to not wish it away, but instead start planning for when the time comes. I collected pictures of baby rooms, wrote down names I liked, wrote down tips from other women, things like that, just to keep me occupied and to make sure that the energy surrounding the subjects is used positively. I think you and your husband should compromise somewhere in between. Its not fair for him to make the decision on his own, it is your body that had to go through the changes, and age has an enormous effect. Why dont you meet eachother in the middle somewhere. And in the meantime, make changes in your lifestyle to prepare for another pregnancy. Start going to yoga classes, stop drinking caffiene, eat raw fruit an veggies and prepare your heart for what is about to come... good luck
