Thread: illegal drugs before being pregnant

hi, i would like to be clarified one thing......Is well understood that we should not take illegal drugs during our pregnancy...unfortunately my sister had taken ecstasy days ago, but shes planning to have baby and not to repeat the consumption again. I would like to ask if it is safe to have baby now, or should have a clearance time is better, and for how long. Or if it is only dangerous taking while u r pregnant? Thanks for yr help........any similar situation that u can share with me?

First off...taking illgal drugs are NEVER good. Second I am kind of confused by your questions. I would say if it was a one time thing your sister should check with her doctor and make sure the baby is ok. If she is in the first trimester, there could be affects (go to the doctor and never take illgal drugs again)!!!

As for experiences, my sister has had three kids and has been a drug addict since she was 14. She supposedly quit while she was pregnant and thank God all three of her kids are healthy...but they are still young and things could come up later....drugs are bad mmmkay!
