Thread: Prometrium

I am in early pregnancy - probably about 5 weeks. I just got a blood test. While my HcG's are good at 9000, my progesterone is very low at 8.5. So, my doctor put me on Prometrium to try to boost my progesterone. Has anyone had any experiences with this they can share with me? I am very scared.

This hasn't happend to me, but good thing it was caught when it was, low progesterone can cause a miscariage. I took natural family planning classes and the lady that was teaching them had to go through those treatments and it helped her have a beautiful baby boy.
