    Hello!
I hope this is the right place to as these questions and this is going to be long sorry!I am 20 and have been having very irregular periods since I was about 16 I went for months without a period and whenever I finally told my mom She took me to the doctor and I had a pap test and everything done(I was still a virgin so no reason for me to be pregnant) and The doctor said everything looked normal and just put me on birth control.Well I started having my periods normal until about a year ago when I got off of the birth control.I'm slowly going longer and longer between my periods....Well I'm married now and we are thinking about trying to concieve I'm going to the doctor sep 14th to get everything checked out.But I'm wanting to see if anyone else has had any of these problems and what it may be I have :irregular periods,Facial hair(EWW!! ),mood swings, and I'm sick for like 2 weeks before I do have a period. And I was also wondering if anyone has any advice on me getting pregnant or if it's going to be really hard for me to get pregnant.I would just wait and ask the doctor but since I can't get an apointment for so long I'm getting impatient.Anyhow thanks!

I don't imagine you will have that much trouble conceiving. You might want to get one of those fertility thermometer to tell when you are ovulating, since you can't exactly use a calendar. If after a few months (or periods) you don't have any success, then definitely see a doctor.

But irregular periods are anything but rare. You probably don't want to force them into being regular while trying to conceive.

    Hey everyone,
I am 37, had MC in 11 week early in February this year, now TTC and had last period on July 15. On August 5th I've had some spotting and cramping and my breasts are sore but not usual "period sore" but more on the sides. I took yesterday a blood test, says no elevated HCG in blood. Could it be I tested way to early for HCG to start building up, does anyone know? I am due to get my period today, and no period for now, and the cramps have stopped on the 5th together with spotting. Thanks girls!

Sounds very similar to me, except I can't use birth control. Have you always had the facial hair, or is this something that appeared after you started using bc? I ask because I didn't have any until I tried using it. My mother only had a period a year though, and she conceived five times in, four of those within a six year period.. Your doctor will be able to tell you more about your personal situation, but irregular periods aren't necessarily a sign that you can't conceive, or that it'll be harder.

Hi, I also was put on BC at 18 for irregular periods. Question have you had cyst... mostly everyone women get's them but they go away.... if you've had a cyst that gives you pain or that's what the doctors call it... definitely ask if it could be endometerosis. I was married seven years and my ex husband and I tried to concieve never happened. He made me think I couldn't have children and I didn't object to the idea either. Anyways this year I had really bad pain in my ovaries; went to the ER they diagnoised with Left Ovarian Cyst.... following friday went into surgery and doctor found endometerosis.... (blood and scar tissue) this caused me not to concieve. The OB/GYN who did my surgery is totally confident that I can now concieve with no problem. Check into this....
