Question Another "Am I pregnant?" thread...

In January, I started Depo.
I was supposed to get my last shot on July 6th, but didn't. I don't want to be on Depo anymore.
I haven't had a period since January.
I had some spotting almost 2weeks ago.
My boobs have grown about half a cup size.
I'm cramping on my sides where I believe my ovaries to me.
I'm always tired, but I generally get too much sleep or not enough so I'm tired anyway.

I haven't tested yet.
Thoughts?

You forgot to mention important details like whether you are having unprotected sex and what you were planning to do for birth control after depo. Or are you trying to get pregnant?

Those symptoms could be your body coming off depo, I've known a few girls on depo and some of them got some pretty extreme pain all of a sudden while coming off it.

I'm not on anyother form of BC and we frequently have unprotected sex.

So are you trying to get pregnant? It sounds to me like you are! If you are not trying to get pregnant then STOP having unprotected sex until you can get onto some other form of BC (pill, patch, nuva ring etc) until then use condoms!

The only way to know is to take a HPT then a blood test. I've heard of women coming off the depo shot and thier period being absent for a loooong time, so it's hard to tell whether you're pregnant or not. I've also herd of women getting pregnant a month after not taking the shot. Every woman is different as we all know, so take those tests and buy some condoms.

good luck

Not trying, but not preventing. If it happens, it happens.

Having sex, not using any conception control.
That's trying
Is your young man aware of all this? It isn't just your choice, it affects him too.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Make sure BOTH of you are agreeing to this...

So... You're trying. That's what married people say/do when they want to have a baby but don't want to feel pressured.

I really hope that given what you are doing, you would rather have a baby that not have a baby. Because it's not exactly a coin toss.

I'm not 12 and afraid to tell mommy dearest that I've had sex. I am able to go to the doctor and get BC, go to the store for condoms or a HPT. I don't have the money for BC and condoms weren't always available.

Yes, my bf knows I'm not on BC and still he doesn't wear a condom every time.

So you don't have money for condoms or BC but you want a baby? oh boy...
