    here is my research..

Is Islamic marriage like Christian marriage?

A Muslim marriage is not a 'sacrament', but a simple, legal agreement in which either partner is free to include conditions. Marriage customs thus vary widely from country to country. As a result, divorce is not common, although it is not forbidden as a last resort. According to Islam, no Muslim girl can be forced to marry against her will: her parents will simply
suggest young men they think may be suitable.

no Muslim girl can be forced to marry against her will:
This is absolutely true, but marriage must be with in the consent of both parents that's why there's no such thing here as a secret marriage.
Islam marriage will not be legal without the following:
    1. consent of both groom and bride's parents
    2. dowry (as a gift of a groom to his bride)
3.Occasion that relatives are there.. (it is like sacrament. )

There are so many things that Islam forbid..

so in short, Marriage only is the way for woman and man to interact to each other.

not double marriage coz the x has no paper with me. just a marriage made by parents without me.

you mean you are forced to marry him?but you said in your other threads he is your boyfriend?
why you hated him so sudden?
have you tried to talk to your parents about the new one?

Yeah, I was forced and yes he was my boyfriend. in our culture, boyfriend is like fiance, engage to each other. both parents knows it and agreed. but before the marriage, I saw a girl and had prove that they had on relationship. So, I broke up with him.. So, instead of broking up with me too, my bf and his parents convinced my parents that the wedding must set sooner or later. they swore that no girl involve like what i used to tell them. But because my parents knew them, they believed in them. (Instead of supporting me, they blame me because of what his parents told them)I explained my side to my parents and his parents too but it's like nobody heard me.
They kept the wedding secretly. I run away. and one day i received a txt message. it was coming from my mother saying that my father had collapse because of me and he might dead. I knew my father had a high blood pressure. So, i felt guilty and came back home. When I got home, the guy was there waiting for me and we already married.

and i didn't know also that he was already married to other girl. I played a good wife to him for the sick of my father. I was already 2 months pregnant when i proved that the girl existed. So after my delivery. I run away home and meet some one else.

I just wanted to be happy and free. I want to help my family but not like that way. I can't take that my husband supposedly will care for me of all the time, spending time also to other woman. When i need him, he can't come coz he has to spend time to that others too.. anybody here can tell me that i'm selfish? go ahead, call me like that. A sinner too. I was asking for divorced but he won't. I tried all possible that i can do but still he won't..

In Islam a girl must have a Walee (protecting freind) usually a father, brother or uncle to act in her behalf in the marriage arrangements. An adult woman, especially one who has been married previously can act on her own behalf. A man can divorce a woman simply by pronouncing 3 times to witnessess that he is doing so. A woman must go through court for a divorce. The dowry may have to be returned.

A girl is supposed to have the right of refusal, however that isn't often really respected or enforced. Generally if the family wants the marriage they can bring extreme pressure and will force it. Once there is consummation the contract is valid, if there is no consummation within a certain time the marriage is nullified.

Running away is likely to severely punished. "Remarrying" without getting a divorce is adultry and punishable by being stoned to death. A woman is buried standing in a pit from the waist down for stoning, a man is simply standing. The woman is the more likely recipient of this punishment. Some countries do have less barbaric punishments but this is the religious law.

You don't have to feel you are wrong...

It's wrong in your "Law" but not as a person.. You have a right to life and be happy and I am sorry for the religion you were born to, you are too independent and expect and deserve love like all of us without all this restriction / threats/ & fear but you can't.

    Protect yourself ....

I wish I could help more than I can but you are too far away and it's very hard.

You have support from us here, remember that, myself, WC, Little and other's...
