Default Am I Pregnant?

Hi
My cycle is 28 days long. My first day of my last period was on Sept. 5th. I do not use any birth control. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby. We had sex during my high fertile days (16-19). On the 24th I had light spotting for the day. It was pink/brown color. I have never had this before it was one week before my period was due. Now I am a week late and I have taken many preg. test and they are neg. On one test there was a faint pos. sign. I took another test today and it still says it is neg. I have noticed that I have been having major mood swings. Basically everything bothers me even the little things. I have never had mood swings this bad and my periods have been always on time. I also have noticed that I have this really thick white discharge. It does not smell and it is not a yeast infection and not any std's. I was just wondering what everyone thinks. My friend is a week ahead of me and she just took four preg. tests and they were positive and I was wondering what is taking so long for stuff to happen with me? Oh and my husband and I had sex more then the fertile days. Please help me figure out what is going on. Any ideas?

Well first i'd like to say happy concieving

It sounds to me like you might be pregnant. If you got one faint positive there's a chance it might have been true. Try testing first thing in the morning with your morning urine with a high quality digital pregnancy test and regardless of the result go see a doctor for a blood test. I heard sometimes (very few) women are hard to "detect" OR you could have miscalculated your period. Also stressing about pregnacy (whether you want it or not) tends to play tricks with your cycle. So try to relax and not think about it (i know its hard!) and let nature take it's course.

Good luck!

If you are late and have taken that many test with most all being negative, I would go in for a blood test.

You may also be late from the "stress" of trying to get that positive test. There are many factors that would cause a delay in your menstrual cycle.

How long have you two been trying to get pregnant? Have you started charting your BBT or taken ovulation tests to confirm that you are in fact ovulating during that time in your cycle?

Hi, I have been keeping track of when I ovulate. I am not really stressing about this, I am just having some stuff going on and I have never seen before(spotting) I am a week late and I started spotting last night. I can only see it when I wipe. I was wondering what is going on????

I wasn't saying stressed in a bad way. It just seems for a lot of woman, the moment they mentally decide to "try" to get pregnant, the body seems to go haywire and the always regular menstrual cycle goes along with it.

I would be inclined to believe you had many accurate negative tests and one false positive, rather than many false negatives and one accurate positive.

I generally spot a few days before the start of my period, but if you've always been regular I wouldn't hesitate to go ahead and go in for a blood test. Like pitty said, some women's HCG is harder to detect than others.

True. Have yourself checked by a doctor. And while you wait for that day, relax, take it easy.

Post pregnancy?

I just want to update everyone... I had light spotting for about 6 days. Not enough to show up on a pad. Then it stopped. My period was due Oct. 3rd. Now my nipples are really tender and the skin that raps around the nipple is larger, but no color change with bumps around the nipple. My periods are heavy I never had a light period. Now I am craving so much food. Could I have early pregnancy? Please help
