Question Pregnant? Help!!

Hi
My first day of my last period was on Sept. 5th. I do not use birth control and my husband and I have been trying to have a baby. We had sex during my most fertile days (before the days and after) I had spotting on the 24th. It only lasted a day and was pink/brown in color. I am a week late. I never had spotting before. I took tests and they came out neg. I have this really thick white discharge and it is not an infection or a std. I never had this discharge before either. Spotting has started last night. It is really light pink and brown. I can only see it when I wipe. I never had this before. I was just wondering if I could be pregnant and it is not showing up because I might have ovulated later then I thought. What do you think? and what should I do?

Well first off your first day of your last period was just over a month ago. Chances are, you are a little late for your period but the test isnt able to pick it up yet.

First thing all women trying to concieve need to know- HCG the hormone home pregnancy tests pick up, must be over 25. this number doubles every other day that you are pregnant. So if you try taking a test too soon, You may only have say " 10 HCG" in your system and the HPT are not designed to pick up those little numbers. From urine especially.

Secondly, A test isnt everything. Your own body will tell you what you need to know. Here are some common signs of pregnancy, following a missed period
-Sore or tender breasts ( Hormones )
-Peeing alot ( Your insides are preparing )
-Mood swings ( stress from not knowing )
-Constipation ( IRon inbalance or from prenatals )
- Sometimes, Spotting.

also, if you are experiancing Pinkish or Brown spotting, Something this is from what they call " Implantation" Which is where the egg attaches to the wall of the uterus.

If you have taken a test and it shows negative, but you have the signs of pregnancy , I would either, 1 . Go to a doctor and get a blood test or 2.) Wait a few days and take another test ( Not a cheap test )

REmember, When taking a test, Make sure you either take it in the morning and get that first morning urine, or watch what you drink and hold your urine for 4 hours, then take the test. YOu wont want your urine to be daluted.

Hope this helps.
