Default Am I pregnant? Please help!

I'm 18 years old and I have been on birth control for 4 years. My boyfriend and I have just broken up but when we were dating we didn't use condoms. The last time we came inside of me was a month ago and I had a period in between then and now, but I had spotting all the way through this past month.. I have been nauseous and thrown up a one or two mornings since then, but then feel better at night. I haven't taken a pregnancy test yet.... Should I be worried about being pregnant??

Please, any advice would help!!!

If you have been on birth control for 4 years, I would doubt pregnancy (unless yoy missed a pill or were late) Birth control pills are 99% effective if taken everyday at approximately the same time. The stress could be causing the spotting and you may be just having flu symptoms. I would wait to miss a period to test, but if you want (for peace of mind), take a HPT now, but I doubt it would be too accurate (well depending on when your period is due).

Good luck and don't stress!! (I know easier said than done )

It's possible to get pregnant any time your partner ejactulates inside of you. It's just more likely at certain times of the month, or if you aren't on BC.

It depends on if he ejaculated when you were ovulating or not. If so, then it's very likely, especially since you aren't on BC. Even if you weren't ovulating, sperm can live inside of you for up to 5 days I believe, so if it was shortly before ovulation, then once again, it's highly possible. Take a pregnancy test if you miss your period, or if you have any weird symptoms.

I have been feeling light headed, dizzy and tired all of a sudden for the past couple of days. I have been off my shots for 3 years maybe more. I have'nt gotten pregnant yet but now when my period went off a little over 2 weeks ago I started getting these systems. I use to think I was pregnant a while back but my systems now are more serious. I am scared to find out cause the test I took a while back were negative. I have irregular periods so I really dont know when its going to come on. What should I do?

Taking a pregnancy test is the only way to really tell. It's best to wait until you are at least a few days late. Also taking it first thing in the Morning is more accurate because the urine is more concentrated.

And yes whether on BC or not if a man ejaculates into you you can become pregnant. No BC is 100% effective.
