Default Whats going on?

I started BC in 2006 and I got off it this June or July. I had a late, short period in August and then 2 weeks later for a day I had light spotting and since then, nothing. I didn't spot or anything in September and I usually had a period around the middle of the month.
I had very irregular periods from the time I was 15 or 16 until two months before going on BC. I would go almost a year without having a period, then it'd last 5-9 days. 2 months before I went on BC the opposite happened...I'd get a period at random times, more than once a month and it would have extreme, severe cramping and a severe back pain with lots of blood loss. I went away to college August 2006 and I started a period and it was so heavy I had to change my pad every 15 minutes. I could not go to class like that and the pill changed that. It made me have a period about the same time every month, no heavy blood loss or cramping.
Me and my fiance ddin't use protection because we don't mind if I get pregnant.
I have taken 2 tests, with negative results but I have had some symptoms of pregnancy since August.
Is it normal for periods to get out of whack when you quit BC or is it just reverting back to my old pattern? I'm not under any more stress than I was before.

I am in the same boat but it is completely normal to have those symptoms once you get off of BC. It caused my period to be late, along with sore boobs and a few other pregnancy symptoms. They went away after i got my period last month but there back now. From what i have read about it you preiod alwys reverts back to the way it was beore but it can take up to 3 months. Hope this helps!
