Question Sensitive Breasts

I don't exactly think im pregnant, but i've never experienced this before, even with my periods in the past. I have extremely sensitive and sore breasts. Even if i just yawn, or get goose bumps, they tighten and tickle a little. And i cannot lay on my stomach or even on my side if they are leaning on something because it hurts. I had a lighter period about two weeks ago and i had been using the nuva ring. I am not on anything right now because i cant afford it but weve been extremely careful in the past. We had unprotected sex once when the nuva ring was out about a month ago but i had my period two weeks ago. Does anyone know what this could be from?

It could be from your body adjusting to not having the chemicals from the Nuva Ring. That would be my guess. It took me a couple of months to get back to normal after I stopped taking birth control If it continues or gets really bothersome you might want to go to the doctor. I know you said money is tight, and I can relate. The local health department in my town is income based, I've gone there before. You could check in your area. Even though you had your period it doesn't mean you're not pregnant, there is always a chance, you also might want to take a test just to rule it out. This is just my opinion based on how birth control reacted to me. We are all different, it could be any number of thing. Breast swelling is caused by hormone imbalances, so anything that could cause your hormones to go out of whack, could be causing your swelling. I hope this helps.

You might want to start massaging your breasts a couple times a days to help reduce the extreme sensitvitity.
