I am 8 months preggo,
I have a lot of discharge lately, i know normal, but i've had to start using panty liners. But I notice whenever I use them, I get bumps down there. They're itchy, irritating and sometimes hurt to even wear panties so I've stopped using them and the bumps go away pretty much the next day. Is there anything I can use as panty liners? I don't know if it is an allergic reaction, or just because they chafe me. I am getting sick of changing my underwear 2-3 times a day because they get soaked through!Do you think there's something wrong with me? Either because I discharge alot or because I can't wear panty liners? I don't recall ever being this sensitive from pads, or panty liners....so it must be pregnancy related... i'm lost....again

This happened a lot with my 2nd. Not sure if I would have considered it discharge rather than just fluid... I wore pads because pantyliners didn't help. I felt like I had pee'd my pants on a regular basis as embarrassing as that is to say. lol
But seriously, laugh = leak, cough = leak, walk = leak, sneeze = leak, it was horrible. Talk about a serious case of incontinence. Have you tried a regular unscented pad to see if you have the same reaction?

Make sure they aren't "deodorant". There are washable cloth ones you can order. Maybe a regular pad would be best?

hmm I will try a thin regular maxi and see if this works...it just feels so weird to wear a pad when you don't have your period lol
I haven't had any problems with incontinence YET, but mostly just normal clear discharge, but in small-medium amounts...enough to soak through a panty 2 sometimes 3 times a day...

What really does it for the incontience is delivering flat on your back, instead of in a squat as our bodies are designed to. It damages muscles and nerves and prolongs the labor by not letting gravity work with you. That's why Lana experienced it with her 2nd child, bet it really wasn't an issue with the first.

Hmmm - maybe, hadn't thought about it. It wasn't an issue with the first, but I was in hard labor for 15 hours before I had to have an emergency c-section. Maybe that contributed?

Could very well be. Depending on the procedure the surgery could have contributed too. I developed trouble in my 40s but found that losing wieght and usinga kegelmaster made a big difference.
