Negative tests no period

I'm sure this has been posted before but I havent had my period in two and a half months. I've taken otc pregnancy tests and NEGATIVE. I am without insurance til the first of the year and I am stressing about this. I called my doctor to see what she could do and she called in a prescription for a pregesterone but I want to know if its possible I could still be pregnant and the tests be wrong and if so will the prescription cause a problem with that? Anyone been through this?

Well, that's really a question for your doctor. Do you have a planned parenthood clinic there? They can give you a test for very cheap, sometimes even free depending on your income.

Well I've asked her but she hasnt returned my call and the weekend is coming. I'm just nervous and didnt really want to wait through the weekend. You know how doctor's offices are. you call them and they take a message then someone else calls you back but they arent the doctor so if you have additional questions you have to wait for them to ask the doctor and call you back. I was going to go to a planned parenthood or free clinic but I've never done that before and not sure where to look for one. I'm in the south atlanta area. I guess I can google it. I work monday thru friday so it will be awhile before I can get a day off if I ask for it. Thanks for the reply.

The planned parenthood website should help you locate a clinic or your states government site, there should be a health section or something like that.
