Default episiotomy pls help

hi friends if any body can help me with epsiotomy the vaginal cut gaven during delivery i am at the end of my first pregnancy and want to know about how is the cut gaven and then stiched is all the procedure painful

pls help me

I don't know about pain or anything (still trying for my first) however i do know that they only make this cut if it is needed. (you would rather them make the cut then tear). Knowing many women who have had this cut, they say you don't even know when they do it because you are so focused on having a baby and then you are so focused on the baby when it is born that you don't even notice them stitching you up. Like any incision i am sure it is uncomfortable, but the doctors know what they are doing. Good luck

I have not had one either but I can tell you from seeing my sister go through it, she didn't feel anything. But she did have an epidural. Also, I know that afterwards she went through some serious pain walking and peeing. She had suggested that if I get one, to take some liquid stool softener cause she said it use to kill her trying to poop. Those are the only suggeestions I got for ya!
